1. Where can I travel with Galore Jets?
Galore Jets is FAA certified to conduct on-demand flights globally. We have our own FAA Part 135 Certificate (certificate number available upon request) and are also an aircraft charter broker. We are confident that our fleet and network can get you where you want to go at any time.
2. What are your standard hours of operation?
We operate 24/7/365. Contact us at any time at +1.914.437.5051.
3. How do I make a reservation?
Currently we only take phone and e-mail reservations at +1.914.437.5051 and firstname.lastname@example.org, respectively. We are working to expand our reservation system.
4. How far in advance do I have to make my reservation?
The sooner you know when you want to reserve a flight, the easier it is for us to schedule and reserve your flight. We are used to emergency situations and, depending on your location, are capable of securing a flight for you within a few hours if need be.
5. What happens on the day of my flight?
You will be able to drive up to the plane where our pilots and aircraft will be waiting for you. We will load all of your luggage onto the plane, park your car in our secure location and be wheels up within minutes of boarding. We can take care of various pre and post flight accommodations for you as well. See our concierge service for more details.
6. Do you serve meals on flights?
All of our aircraft and flights have standard complimentary snacks and beverages. If you would like a meal during your flight, please be sure to request it and our service specialists will arrange a custom meal for you.
7. Can I bring my own food/drinks/wine/other on board?
We allow you to bring most normal items on board our aircraft. It is often easier for us to prepare your items for you in advance so that your food/beverages are at just the right temperature. Some items are restricted by law on our aircraft. A general rule of thumb is that everyday items are usually permitted. If you have a concern or are unsure if you can bring something on board, please contact us and we will be sure to answer any questions.
8. Can you transport my pet?
As fellow pet owners, we love and welcome any and all household pets on our flights. Be sure to let us know in advance if you are bringing a pet so that we can make the flight as comfortable as possible. We allow pets in the cabin and all well behaved pets can be kept off leash. Other pets may unfortunately need to be crated; we do not place pets in the cargo hold. Exotic pets may not be able to be transported. Contact us at +1.914.437.5051 or by e-mail at email@example.com if you have any questions or concerns about bringing your pet along on your flight.
9. Do your aircraft have lavatories?
Most of our aircraft have an enclosed lavatory. Please be sure to ask us if your plane has a lavatory if you are booking a longer flight.
10. What happens if I have to reschedule or cancel my flight?
Please let us know as soon as possible if your plans change and we will work to reschedule your flight accordingly. In the event of a cancellation, please let us know as soon as possible to avoid any cancellation fees. Last minute cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee.
11. Which airport is closest to my final destination?
We will always make sure that you are taken to the closest airport to your desired destination. Just let us know where you want to go and we will take care of the rest, including ground transportation to and from your destination.
12. What is a fuel surcharge?
A fuel surcharge is an additional fee added to the cost of the flight that covers the additional cost of fuel when fuel prices rise above a baseline rate. The hourly rate for your charter flight is often based upon fuel prices at a certain price per gallon. This fee is not a source of profit and is intended to offset the cost of fuel when fuel rises unexpectedly. Galore Jets usually does not have fuel surcharge fees.
13. What is FET (Federal Excise Tax)?
Federal Excise Tax is a government tax that is collected by Galore Jets and remitted to the Internal Revenue Service. FET is equivalent to 7.5% of the total flight charges. All charter and fractional operators collect this tax for all flights made within the United States and to/from destinations located within 225 miles of the United States border.
14. Do you offer frequent flyer benefits?
Our frequent flyers receive priority scheduling and other benefits. We appreciate you flying with us and will always accommodate your requests to the best of our ability.
15. Which documents do I need for international flights?
Passports are required for all passengers for all trips outside of the United States. Those holding a permanent resident card must submit to us a copy so that we may coordinate with customs and the proper government authorities. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by both parents. If a child is travelling with only one parent, the other parent not travelling with the child must submit a notarized, verifiable permission letter at least 3 days prior to departure. Border crossing cards may not be used in place of passports when travelling by plane.
16. How much does it cost to charter a flight?
Prices vary depending on distance and destination. Hourly estimates and sample costs of flights for each of our aircraft can be found at our fleet page.
